Crock-Pot Meatball Subs

Crock-Pot Meatball Subs

I had originally planned on making Spaghetti and Meatballs with the meatballs I made in bulk the other day, but since we had a ton of bread that we picked up at our CSA farm for free, I decided to make Meatball Subs. It was pretty basic. I just threw the frozen precooked meatballs into the Crock-Pot and poured 2 jars of sauce over them.

15 - 20 meatballs
2 jars of pasta sauce
french bread or hoagie rolls, sliced in half
mozerella cheese

Place meatballs and sauce in slow cooker; stir well. Heat for 4-6 hours on low, stirring occasionally.
Place bread into the oven on broil to warm up. Take bottom part of bread and carefully place meatballs and sauce on the bread. Place bread back into the oven and broil until cheese melts. Remove from oven and put the top on the bread. Now...if you can open wide enough to eat the sammie, chow down!
