Basil Blue-Cranberry Vanilla Shakeology Recipe

I love to experiment with new flavors and I happened to have some frozen cranberries left over from last Christmas, yep, you read that right. I think it's time to clean out my freezer! So, I decided to whip this up and give it a try. Winner winner chicken dinner! If you try it, please leave me a comment and let me know what you think.  

Basil Blue-Cranberry Shakeology Recipe

1 cup milk (skim, coconut, almond or rice)1/3 cup frozen blueberries1/3 cup frozen cranberries (buy them fresh and freeze)4-5 large basil leaves1/2 frozen banana1 scoop vanilla Shakeology IceBlend and enjoy!

I typically add a little more than a cup of liquid. Sometimes I will do one cup of milk and a little bit of water to make it go further. If you haven't tried the healthiest meal of the day, message me at or to get a trial pack.

Light Tuna Salad Made with Greek Yogurt Cranberries and Pecans

I don't have the exact measurements for this, but I can give you an estimation.  It's pretty flexible.

Tuna Salad Recipe

2 cans of tuna, drained
greek yogurt (chobani), about 1/3 cup, just enough to moisten the tuna
sweet relish, 1 Tbsp
mustard - about a tsp, just a small squirt
2 tbsp of cranberries
2 tbsp chopped pecans
pinch salt and pepper
1 small green apple, diced small
celery, diced
Pita Bread or Whole Wheat Bread

Mix all ingredients together. Serve on whole grain bread or stuffed in pita bread with fresh spinach or sprouts.

Day 2 Focus T25 and Blueberry Basil Vanilla Shakeology Recipe

Completed Day 2 of Focus T25 today. I really like this workout. It's pretty difficult, but not so hard that you cannot do it. I love the modifications shown by Tonya, aka "the machine". Even though it's a short workout, I noticed my inner thighs, abs and legs are sore, so I can really tell the  workout is doing a good job of targeting key muscle groups, while giving me a good cardio workout. My heart rate stayed around 170 most of the workout because of the intensity.

After my workout, I enjoyed a new Shakeology recipe made with blueberries and basil. It was oddly delicious.

Blueberry Basil Recipe

1 cup milk (I used almond milk - coconut or reg milk is fine)
5 large basil leaves
1/3 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 scoop vanilla Shakeology

Blend and enjoy!

Excited to Start Focus T25 With my Husband

I am really looking foward to starting a new workout program with my husband on Monday. We are doing Focus T25 for 10 weeks. We already took our before photos and measurements and I am looking forward to seeing the results from the program. I know it will be tough, but we can do it.
