Day 2 Focus T25 and Blueberry Basil Vanilla Shakeology Recipe

Completed Day 2 of Focus T25 today. I really like this workout. It's pretty difficult, but not so hard that you cannot do it. I love the modifications shown by Tonya, aka "the machine". Even though it's a short workout, I noticed my inner thighs, abs and legs are sore, so I can really tell the  workout is doing a good job of targeting key muscle groups, while giving me a good cardio workout. My heart rate stayed around 170 most of the workout because of the intensity.

After my workout, I enjoyed a new Shakeology recipe made with blueberries and basil. It was oddly delicious.

Blueberry Basil Recipe

1 cup milk (I used almond milk - coconut or reg milk is fine)
5 large basil leaves
1/3 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 scoop vanilla Shakeology

Blend and enjoy!


  1. I noticed you are using regular Milk? would you not use Soy Milk sugar free or 1% can you taste the basil

    1. I typically use almond milk, but you can use any kind of milk. :)

  2. The basil gives it a clean refreshing taste.
