This is so good over some chopped grilled chicken breast and 1/4 or 1/2 baked sweet potato. Check out the picture at the bottom of the post.
Clean Eating BBQ Sauce Recipe
1/2 cup tomato paste - no sugar, or if you can't find that use one with no salt
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup worsteshire sauce
1/2 cup water
1/4 tsp sea salt or pink salt
1/8 tsp pepper or a few twists fresh black pepper
2 tbsp maple syrup
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
Combine all ingredients into a jar and shake well. It will be very thin. If you want to thicken it up, put it in a small sauce pan and simmer for about 20 minutes to reduce water. You could also just add 1/4 cup of water to speed this up.
