Let the countdown begin...our offer on the home has been accepted and we are closing on October 11th. Now I realize there are a million things to do and my sub conscience is flipping out. We are waiting on the response from the bank to see if they will pay for a new a/c unit, since the current one needs to be replaced. I am very hopeful. Prayers are greatly appreciated. The week has been a nightmare so far. I feel like I am being pulled in every direction trying to get things done. The house seems to be a complete mess - like the more I try the worse it gets. Operation Empty the Freezer is still in play and it is going well. I can finally start to see some definite changes in the amount of food in my freezers. This weeks meals will be focused on using up items from the freezer and pantry before we move. Head over to Orgjunkie to see more great menu plans and links.

I love wings! That's a good reminder that we should have some soon. :) Do you have a recipe for your black bottomed cupcakes??
ReplyDeleteI wish I could take credit for this recipe, but alas Allrecipes takes it again. Here is the web address: http://allrecipes.com//Recipe/black-bottom-cupcakes-i/Detail.aspx...I tasted something similar at a local Farmer's market and had to find something similar - I was thrilled with the result. I used a pastry bag to pipe the filling onto the center of each cupcake and then sprinkled the tops with mini chocolate chips. HTH!
